Monika Syrtarioti

She acquired a double major Bachelor degree at Deree – The American College of Greece in History of Art (cum laude) and in Communications focusing on Cinema Studies in Modern Culture. She completed her post graduate studies at the University of Edinburgh in Theory of Art and Display. Parallel to her studies, she has curated the photography exhibition “One -Two”, a protest against homophobia and its consequences in western modern society. She has been a part of the exhibition “Treasures of Collection Pietro Bellasi and Katerina Papageorgiou Bellasi”, a collaboration between the Visual Art and Curatorial Practises Laboratory, and the University of Thessaly and Giorgio de Chirico Art Center.
